Memories and general randomness......and there's more to come.....XD
on Sunday, April 26, 2009high time i liven things up a bit here. Something random and just an outpouting of thoughts.
Starting with some memories , 2 years on.

I miss everyone. There, i said it. I miss the innocent look Meech gives whenever a pervy joke or comment is made *shifty eyes* , i miss the carefree anil , i miss the sarcasm and eye rolls from Wenyan , i miss lay yong whom i have hardly seen since she moved out from hall a year ago.
I guess i just miss seeing the faces i first saw when i walked into Fedor's math1A class, 2 weeks late , totally unprepared and regretting the decision to take up the scholarship after half an hour of listening to limits and epsilons. Sitting in the back of that first ever class in university , Fedor's words passed through and were forgotten, as one forgets a mouthful of tomato soup as dessert is served (okay, perhaps that wasn't a goood analogy, it is 4 am and i just finished blasting the 15 clicks of clear open roads on Lim Chu Kang, and my brains going all fuzzy)......
And so, i remember watching everyone.
The attentive gazes of Sheng Tao and Vee-Liem. The blur looks on Audrey and Anil. The curious glances of Garen , Ching , Evelyn and Zheng Wen at Keegan and me. The abscence of the Tanvi and Tanvee.....
I remember staring at Fedor and picturing him waddling about like a cute penguin. That made me smile throughout the entire hour.....and made me seem like i knew what he was talking about....which probably made him a bit happy.
I really enjoyed this dinner....thnx ZW for organising it!

I guess there is a confession to be made at this point. I never got to know EVERYONE.
I never knew, and i still do not know Mabel , Boss (Irwan) , Raymond , Tanvee and Tanvi , Ching. Not sure if i missed anyone out, but lets press on anyway.
Wonder is its possible to know everyone before graduation day. I shall try XD.
I wonder is this is appropriate or not, but i guess a big shout out to the couples in our group is in order:
1) Zheng Wen and Evelyn
2) Suky and Chun Kiat
.
.
.
.
woah, just realised there are only 2 couples amongst us. Anyway, congrats and remember to invite me for your weddings (i am super optimistic yeah). I'll come blow a trumpet or something to celebrate....and then run out quickly before a relative tries to throttle said trumpet.
Excuse the directness and randomness....its just me.
Gotta thank Garen, BC and You Quan for my first birthday out with friends (20th).
yeah, i was born on the unfortunate date of 1st June. Its always exam period back home and no one is free.
I guess i have not really said this out properly, but i gotta shout this out now:
THANK FREAKING GOD I HAD PEOPLE AROUND ME WHEN I DID THE MOST STUPID THING AND BROKE MY ARM.
It was very moral boosting to have people around while waiting for the ambulance.
PS: I thought the nurse in emergency was cute, or maybe it was the morphine thinking that for me......
Its very comforting to have people come visit you in hospital. And good thing you people did not come in with worried faces but with chocs (yummm) , and a few pranks to boot (antiseptic spray in the part that ought not be sprayed....). I hate people worrying.
By the way peeps,
My roomie and I will be planning some adventures in the hols, one is a short camping trip to Ubin. Rent bikes, cycle about the whole day, then stay overnight. Everyone is more than welcome to join.
On an entirely different note , next year is year 3. We will hardly see each other due to engineering people going off on IA , people flying away on exchange. Is there anyway we can have like a gathering of sorts? I admit, i have no idea beyond the birthdays and outings. Perhaps a form of simple weekend getaway to Bintan or something? (apologies to Wenyan for not going for the one you organised).
Year 4 is worse, with FYP and then graduation. I know its realistically impossible to meet on such a frequent basis as in year 1, but lets make an effort now and then the very least. Its awesome to see everyone.
Nowadays....... (the following are just observations of a chap bored to bits with NTU exam life and is not intended to be judgemental)..
1) Mun Ling seems to walk about in a daze when i see her. Perhaps its only when i see her she seems that way.
2) Meech looks very flustered.
3) CBE must be super tough, everyone there seems stressed. All the more reason to go camping with me in hols :P
4) Aero ppl look just as bad. ZW sighs everytime he sees me.
5) did you know that Hall 9, Block 45 has 215 stairs? (told you this is random).....
6) Twei runs pretty fast. But you need to trick her into believing the route you're running is shorter when its really not..... (sorry Twei, the short and painful route was actually long and painful.....but u did burn more calories! You may thank me when you read this)
7) I'm staring at a spot on my table, waiting for inspiration of sorts for the next random obseration. It now 4.45 am and i am regretting drinking damn coffee.....
I guess i'll end it off here. Its a privilage to know you lot and i am truly enjoying the company and friendship i have found here (dabs a trickle of sweat , it sure is a warm night....).
I do apologise for the inappropriateness of the above post, if any, and really realy hope that you guys , while reading this post , had a laugh at some point. If you did, then my work here is done. To entertain and try to destress you lot , the purpose of this post is.

PS: I own a really tatty and worn out black original Matrix Reloaded t-shirt that i love to bits and used to wear to college thrice a week and hence the nickname from my old A lvl pals.
